Core modules & Details:

1. Leadership Development & Teamwork

This module is designed to provide you with training in the basic principles of leadership. It will help you acquire the skills required for effective leadership, and appreciation for your personal leadership ability. It will develop an understanding of a leaderŐs role as an agent of change in the world today.

2. Personal Development

This module provides you with a context for personal and spiritual development. It aims to develop an understanding of the key components for effective personal growth. Topics include; goal setting, time management, financial management, personal vision and identity, character development, and how to practically operate in the supernatural.

3. Contemporary Communication

Communication is a necessary leadership and life skill. This is a practical module which develops the skills required to communicate vision, lead teams, develop strong relationships, and to improve people skills in a variety of settings.

4. Christian Worldview

This module will provide you with a strong biblical foundation, and Christian worldview. It will help present a case for Christ and the Kingdom in a post modern world, in contrast to other beliefs systems that oppose His message.

5. Understanding the Bible

The purpose of this module is to provide you with an overview of the Bible, and increase your understanding and revelation of the Word of God. You will discover how the role of leaders shaped Biblical history, and influenced life today.

6. Personal Evangelism

This module will provide you with practical teaching and experience in communicating the message of Christ. It will empower you to be an influence at every opportunity, and relevant to current cultures, societies, and trends.

7. Youth Stream

In this module you will develop an understanding of the essential components in youth leadership, running a youth ministry, and being a part of a leadership team. This is a comprehensive and practical module, that explores solutions to community issues relevant to young people, and develops opportunities in evangelism and youth outreach.

8. The Academy

The Academy programme is an essential part of college life. It provides practical opportunities for personal and leadership development, through structured and supervised observation of leaders in action. It connects college life with your local church and community.

9. Electives: (Choose One)

Electives are available in Chaplaincy, Media & Creative Arts, Business Management, and Community / Pastoral Care. These are specific elements of competency, that provide you with specialised training in the area of calling you desire to pursue.
Chaplaincy
Practical training in High School & Primary School Chaplaincy
Media & Creative Arts
Training in music production, worship leading, song writing and playing an instrument.
Business Management
Training and development in the day to day management of a business, ideal for anyone with a desire to finance the Kingdom of God
Community & Pastoral Care
Practical training in the care of both church and community, it will develop an understanding of networking, relationships, and needs present in current society.

Core modules & Details:

1. Leadership & Management

This module will enhance your ability to plan strategically; budget and manage time, lead and develop a team, and coordinate a department or areas of management. It will include input from senior leaders, successfully involved in ministry and \ or corporate setting. You will benefit from their experience and wisdom.

2. Life Coaching

You will be provided with the practical skills needed to mentor and develop another person in their aspirations and goals. You will become aware of the issues that restrict a personŐs growth and development, holding them back from a life of destiny and purpose. This module will develop your ability to lead people into leadership.

3. Contemporary Preaching

This module will enhance your communication skills to include the necessary elements in the art of preaching.It will develop your ability to move from idea to delivery, and communicate in a relevant yet structured manner. You will be equipped with an understanding of how people listen and learn, and how to effectively teach in a range of leadership roles.

4. Worldview Formation

This module introduces you ethical questions that challenge biblical truth, and the belief systems that deviate from a Christian worldview. It will develop an understanding of how to defend biblical truth in a relevant and significant way.

5. Biblical Exegesis / Interpretation

You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to interpret and apply biblical scripture, both benefiting yourself and those you lead. In commencing this module, you will utilise such skills to begin systematic studies into biblical scripture.

6. Community Transformation

This module continues to develop an awareness of evangelism, and the realities of such ministry. Through practical training and relevant examples, you will benefit from increased vision, and reach out to communities.

7. Youth Leadership Stream

In conjunction with all that you have learnt, you will be given an opportunity to develop a project plan for a youth ministry. It will include operational procedures, networking, budgets and finance reports, OHS&W issues, development of a volunteer base, promotions and concepts, and post evaluation.

8. The Academy

The Academy programme will continue to develop your leadership abilities through a process of mentoring. You will actively support a leadership team, and be involved in leadership on a significant level.
